Canadian Carbonization Research Association & ArcelorMittal Dofasco, Hamilton, ON

Through CSPA’s participation in the Canadian Carbonization Research Association, members have developed three demonstration projects that would see the greenhouse gas emissions of the sector reduced significantly. One project under development at ArcelorMittal Dofasco in Hamilton would involve the first commercial demonstration of a new biocarbon clean technology and could see emissions reduced from this operation by ~120,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.
